First Snowfall

Tackling Thanksgiving dinner is all about confidence. There are choices just like in life. You can tackle the entrees, sides and desserts with fear, trepidation and stress yourself out to the maximum. Or you can approach it fearlessly, take a chance and make it a fabulous experience from start to finish. 

My Mom and I tag teamed the turkey meal this year. Her tasks: the turkey (brined using the Pioneer Woman’s recipe – totes fab), mashed sweet ‘taters and carrots, green beans, and asparagus and an apple pie. My tasks: cranberry sauce, pecan pie bars, stuffing and sweet potato hummus. The results? Let me show you…

So…prepping a big meal doesn’t have to be a stress filled chaotic mess. I am off now to find the hummus and make a vanilla apple hot toddy now. Have a great Friday readers!
