The Everyday

The Everyday: Week 11

There are weeks when one line of a song is stuck in my head. One line. All week long. It happens. The lyric of the week, somehow, found itself in nearly every photo this week. Many thanks to Dar Williams for writing Spring Street!

“And the new dead leaves They made the trees look like children with gray hair

But I’ll push myself up through the dirt And shake my petals free I’m resolved to being born And so resigned to bravery”

There were days when I was a little later than usual – meaning I overslept..big time! On this day my roommate  Mom packed my lunch. I saw this and felt like I was 10 all over again. Thankful.
